Frederick J. Kern

Fred brings a wealth of experience helping companies improve processes and
applying technology to practical corporate solutions. He has been retained
to help develop and implement strategic corporate growth and major
reengineering solutions in numerous corporate environments ranging from
hi-tech start ups to large well established brick and mortar companies.
Prior to starting the Logos Delta Group, Fred had a varied career of
increasing scope and responsibility with AT&T, Bell Laboratories, Pacific
Bell and a start up Publishing Company. Assignments included large and
small-scale systems design, network engineering, systems design
methodologies, customer service and imaging systems as well as the
successful management of numerous line organizations. He served as a
developmental boss for the mentoring and evaluation of high caliber direct
management hires designated as future corporate leaders.
Fred has a BS with Honors in Industrial Technology from the California State
University. He is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management’s executive
program. He is past officer of several volunteer associations and is a
regular speaker at industry seminars as well as the author of numerous
industry articles and white papers. Fred has extensive international
consulting experience.
Kathleen Pierz

Ms. Pierz is one of the best known industry analysts in the directory
assistance/enquiry space. She has published over 100 insightful reports on
the key issues affecting the industry worldwide and is a sought-after
speaker. With over 25 years of strategic planning and marketing experience
and a solid background in the information services industry from both the
carrier and the vendor side of the business, she delivers a focused,
actionable perspective within this dynamic market.
Prior to founding The Pierz Group, Kathleen Pierz held senior management
positions at Zelos Group, The Kelsey Group, IBM and Ameritech (now SBC).
Ms. Pierz holds a Master's degree in International Management from the
American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from The University of Colorado.
Richard D. Parr

Richard is one of the most knowledgeable individuals in the world on
graphics, prepress, printing and paper processes involved with the
large-scale production of directories as well as the production of ultra
high quality print products. He has implemented highly successful
Computer-To-Plate CTP production operations that significantly reduce
production time intervals, costs and errors while concurrently improving
quality. While serving as a senior member of a countrywide Directory
publishing company, Richard was responsible for introducing full color
products as well as transitioning the company to a new printer and prepress
operational flow. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of graphics and color
processes.
He is a meticulous executive that has a reputation for careful and detailed
planning the contributes to flawless large-scale conversions of production
operations.
Richard is a Graduate of the Blackpool Technical College, Lancashire,
England in Typography and Printing Processes. He was Chairman of the South
African Digital Publishing Association for three years, and is an member of
the South African Printing Federation and the Institute of Printing. Richard
is a sought after speaker and is a trainer in graphics, prepress and
printing processes.
Antoni A. Urban

Tony has 25 years experience in troubleshooting and creating a variety of
software systems. He is one of the best pure system analysts in the business
with the rare ability to quickly analyze large complex systems and produce
the appropriate software solutions. He has created several Directory
composition and pagination systems as well as numerous GIS, Geocoding and
mapping systems. Tony excels at being able to write software bridges between
multi-vendor systems to create seamless processes.
Tony has BS and Masters Degrees in Mathematics from the University of Cracow
Poland. Advanced work in Artificial Intelligence from the University of
Cracow. Tony was twice selected for the Gold Metal Award for the best
software development in Poland. He is a member of the International
Association of Typography and the Digital Publishing and Graphics
Association of South Africa. Tony has been a University level lecturer on
computer graphics.
