Strategic Planning Facilitation
Technology evolves. Markets evolve. Current processes become obsolete.
Business and social conditions change. Labor rules are modified. In
today's fast changing world, organizations must continually review all
facets of their business and prepare to evolve the organization on a
regular basis.
In many instances, it is difficult for an organization to get started
on the strategic planning process. Perhaps it is because current
management has not had the opportunity to experience or view changes in
differing industries. Perhaps it is because management is concerned about
impacts on their own organizations or simply lacks background in corporate
level strategic planning. Or - perhaps it is just more productive to have
someone jump-start the process through a facilitation process.
Logos brings insights from a variety of industries to a company
embarking on a strategic planning process. It can provide facilitation
expertise or it can act as the genesis in developing a new strategic path
for a company or operating department.
| Project: An Internet start up company retained Logos to facilitate the strategic planning for a new Sales Channel. At the end of the assignment the company adopted a radically different selling approach than originally anticipated. This was largely due to having the facilitator identify previously hidden costs such as recruiting, training, turnover, management overheads and processing costs. As a result, the company avoided a costly exercise that likely would have jeopardized the company’s credibility.

| Project: A larger publishing company retained Logos to evaluate the best approach for implementing a Sales Force Operation that would integrate with their existing systems as well as satisfy the need to effectively service both existing print markets as well as new Internet based markets. Logos developed an approach that could grow and be maintained by the existing IT department.
